Ovenclean staff have been donning their aprons all week in
preparation for a "Cake-Off" to raise funds for Help for Heroes'
Colossal Cake Sale.
Cake will be the order of the day as staff compete for the title
of "Cake-Off Champion" in a competition which will see staff and
customers paying for how much they believe the cake is worth, with
all proceeds going to Help for Heroes. Directors will announce the
winner in a finale event on Thursday 5 April.
Tim Harris, Ovenclean Chief Executive admitted that the business
had their own reasons for choosing to support the charity:
"Help for Heroes do an incredible job helping our soldiers who
are wounded in action, which really inspires us to want to support
them. Their national Colossal Cake Sale is a great way to raise
money and have some fun at the same time!"
The Colossal Cake Sale runs until 7 April 2012 so you could have
a go at baking your own Easter cakes and support a great cause at
the same time.
